The Portal is a branded, public-facing website where a member can see their membership without the PassPlay app. After a member verifies their membership, the Portal shows their digital membership card, their benefits and reciprocals, and their points and rewards (when available).
The Portal is also where some other member-facing PassPlay features live:
Loyalty links open on the Portal when a member claims them.
The unsubscribe link at the bottom of PassPlay emails opens the email preferences page on the Portal.
Opening the Portal
Each organization has its own Portal lookup page:

On this page the member enters their Membership ID and the validation field of your organization (email, phone number, or last name). When PassPlay finds a membership that matches, it opens the membership’s Portal page:

If the membership is not yet in PassPlay and your integration supports lookups, PassPlay looks for the membership in your membership system during the search.
From the admin
On the Memberships page, the Portal button in the upper right opens your organization’s Portal lookup page.
On a membership’s details page, super admins have a Portal button that opens the Portal page for that membership directly.
Links
You may link to your Portal lookup page from anywhere you like. To fill in the membership ID for the member, add the i query argument:

Caution: A membership’s Portal page address contains a unique ID for the membership. Anyone who has that address can see the membership card, including the barcode. Do not share a member’s Portal page address with anyone other than that member.
What members see
The Portal has a tab bar at the bottom of the page. All tabs are part of one page, so the Portal does not load a new page when a member changes tab. Some tabs show only when the related feature is enabled for your organization.

Member
The Member tab is the digital membership card. It shows:
The member name, membership type, membership ID, and expiration date.
A barcode or QR code for scanning, as set by your organization’s barcode type.
The phone number, mailing address, email address, all named members on the membership, number of children, and membership level.
Buttons to download the PassPlay app and to add the membership card to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. The Portal shows the buttons for the member’s device type, and the member can switch to the other platform.
A link to open the membership in the PassPlay app, and a share button on devices that support sharing.
When a membership is near its expiration date, a Renew Now banner shows at the top of the card. The banner uses the same rules as the renewal banner in the app: it uses your Renew notice days and Renew URL from the organization profile, and it does not show for a membership type with Disable expiration notice enabled.
Benefits
The Benefits tab lists the benefits of the membership. When the membership has reciprocals, a second tab at the top of the list shows them. The member can open a benefit or reciprocal to see all of its details.
Rewards
The Rewards tab shows the current points balance of the membership and the rewards that the membership has received but not yet redeemed. Members redeem rewards in the PassPlay app, not on the Portal.
Printing
A member can print the Portal page from the print function of their browser. The printout has all tabs, one after the other, and not only the tab that is open:
The membership card is on its own first page, with the barcode or QR code.
The benefits and the reciprocals follow, with the full text of each one and the address of its link.
The points balance and the rewards follow last, when your organization has a rewards program.
A tab that has no content does not print. The tab bar, the buttons, and the wallet and app links do not print.
Older Portal addresses for the benefits and rewards pages, such as https://portal.passplay.io/benefits/<membership id>, open the same page on the related tab.
Appearance
The Portal uses your organization’s name, logo, and colors as configured under Organization → Appearance.
The membership card on the Portal also uses these settings from your membership types, when they are enabled for your organization:
The display label of the membership type, in place of the membership name from your membership system.
The card color and text color of the membership type.
