The organization profile holds your org’s name, contact info, address, and renewal-related settings. These values flow into invite emails, the member’s app card, and renewal reminders.
Profile fields
Field | Notes |
Name | Public-facing organization name. Appears throughout the member app and admin UI. |
Description | Short description of your organization. |
Address | Street, City, State, Country, Postal Code. Used in invite emails and in member-facing support content. |
URL | Your organization’s public website. |
Public contact email. | |
Phone | Public contact phone. |
Renewal settings
These control behavior around membership expiration and renewal:
Field | Notes |
Enable renewal reminders | Toggle whether PassPlay sends renewal reminders to members ahead of their expiration. |
Renew notice days | How many days before expiration the renewal banner / reminder begins appearing. |
Renew URL | The URL members are sent to when they tap “Renew” in the app. Typically a deep link into your membership system or website. |
Wallet renewal reminders
The Wallet renewal notice feature sends the renewal reminder to the member’s wallet pass. Enable renewal reminders must be on: the wallet reminder is off for any organization that turned reminders off. The reminder goes out one time per membership term, Renew notice days before the expiration date. A renewal starts a new term, so a member who renews and later approaches the new expiration date gets one more reminder. A membership type with Disable expiration notice enabled receives no reminder, on either platform, and no banner. Wallet renewal reminder notifications are subject to the wallet notification platform limitations.
Connection limit
In order to prevent members from sharing their membership credentials in an unauthorized manner, PassPlay supports different login limits to help prevent abuse.
Field | Notes |
Max App Connections | The maximum number of times a membership may connect from the app before an admin reset is necessary. |
Max Devices | The maximum number of devices that can be simultaneously connected to a single membership. |
These are the defaults for your whole organization. A membership type can override the limit for its own memberships, or remove it. See Per-type limits.
