Creating and editing benefits

The benefit form - name, image, description, level scoping, and post-redemption content.

Fields

Field

Notes

Title

The benefit’s title as members see it. Keep it short like “Free admission for guests”. Additional details should be kept in the description.

Details

Longer text shown when a member taps into the benefit.

URL

Optional URL for where members can find additional information about the benefit.

Image

Optional image displayed alongside the benefit. Recommended: landscape-ish (3:2 aspect ratio), ~1024x768 px.

Membership type

Limit benefit access to one or more membership types. Leave blank to grant to all memberships.

Post-redemption content

(Redeemable-only) Text shown after redemption: a thank-you, coupon code, a follow-up offer, or next steps.

Post-redemption URL

(Redeemable-only) Optional URL for where members can get additional instructions about how to use the redeemed benefit.

Editing an existing benefit

Click any benefit’s row to edit it. Changes apply going forward to anyone who already has the benefit assigned. For redeemable benefits, edits to the benefit’s details will also affect existing un-redeemed instances.

Deleting a benefit

The Delete button on a benefit’s edit page removes the benefit. For standard benefits this means it disappears from members’ app cards immediately. For redeemable benefits, deleting the benefit type doesn’t retroactively unredeem instances that members already used.

If you only want to stop new grants, leave the redeemable benefit in place but stop creating grants against it (see Granting benefits).
