Scheduling
Every campaign goes out at a scheduled time. You can edit a Pending campaign right up until the scheduled time. If you change the schedule to a later time, it stays Pending; if you change it to a past time, it sends on the next scheduled run.
Push - Expiration
Push campaigns accept an expiration time — the latest moment at which a recipient’s device will display the message in their list of unread messages if it wasn’t read when initially received. This prevents members from seeing a “Saturday’s bonus points!” message on Monday.
Daily recurrence (auto-invite)
A special recurrence is available for Invitation campaigns targeting New memberships:
Create an Invitation campaign.
Set the recipient type to New memberships.
Toggle on Send daily.
Save.
PassPlay then runs this campaign every day on its schedule, inviting any memberships created since the previous run. Use it to keep new sign-ups on the welcome path without having to manually trigger a campaign each time.
The daily option only appears when the campaign is in the “new memberships” configuration above. For any other combination the recurrence is hidden. Future enhancements may enable recurrence scheduling for other campaign types.
Editing pending campaigns
Pending (“Ready to send”) campaigns are fully editable: change the audience, message, image, schedule, or even the campaign type. Save to keep the changes.
Cancelling a scheduled campaign
To stop a campaign from going out:
Move it back to Draft by changing the status and saving.
Delete it from the campaign list. This is irreversible, but removes the campaign and any draft data.
Once a campaign is Sent, neither option is available.
Resending a sent campaign
To send a Sent campaign again, click the Resend button on its row in the campaign list, or on its Summary page. When you resend a campaign, its send date changes to about one minute after you confirm. The audience is calculated again when the campaign sends, so it can include new members.
Before resending a campaign, be aware of the following:
Email campaigns send again to every recipient. Each resent email counts toward your monthly email quota.
Push campaigns send the notification again. A member who already has a message for the campaign does not get a second entry in the history.
Invitation campaigns that target Not invited memberships send only to members who are still not invited. Members that the first send of the campaign included are not included in the resend.
Reward and Points campaigns give the reward or points again to all recipients.
To start a new campaign from the same settings, you may want to use Duplicate instead.
